New Blog

I want to blog. I really do. But I can't. I just can't seem to get there.

So I have a new plan : photo blog. Because most of my inability to blog stems from the complex process to upload photos onto this site and a lack of time/energy/creativity to write something witty or clever or even (GASP!) grammatically correct these days, I'm hoping a quick post with a photo and short caption will be easier.

The Pumpkin Blog

Not to be left out of the festive pumpkin blogging, here is our contribution. We have never been, and with any luck we never will be, a carving family. This year our good friend Miss Amy gave Jake two sets of felt jack o'lantern face stickers which seemed like the perfect way to go. It took under five minutes to complete and has entertained him endlessly as he continues to remove and rearrange the stickers and to drag the pumpkins around the house. I've also discovered the eyes attached to other random toys and stopped his attempts to put both eyes and eyebrows on Gus.

The part where you all smile and pretend that you believe I'll actually do it this time.

It's time to pretend that I'm going to start blogging again. I no longer "work outside of the home" as they say (and honestly I try not to work inside of the home to the extent that I can get away with it) so, in theory, I should be able to do it. But, in theory, I should be able to do a load of laundry from start to finish in under three days and that's not happening, so we'll see.
